It’s no big secret I love shooting in the Old City more than almost anywhere else. Mostly because in any photo I love a little grit, and text never hurts either. Knoxville’s Old City has an abundance of both, making the grungy, moody pics I love easier to come by. For that reason I rarely head downtown without my camera. These photos are the exceptions to that. All of these are iPhone photos, little snapshots I took  while out and about without my giant “real camera”. Obviously I have converted a few to black and white, but other than that they are completely un-messed-around-with.  No editing other than the black and white conversion, and a layer mask in Photoshop to remove the black and white in the shots that have both black & white and color in them. Just some fun shots of some lonely little spots in the old city.  Enjoy!
